Las Vegas U2 Concert Tickets

If you haven't heard, you will shortly as the massive U2 Worldwide tour wraps up it's Summer leg in Europe.

The U2 360° Tour (presented by BlackBerry) visited 14 cities across Europe and included stops in Barcelona, Milan, Paris, Nice, Berlin, Amsterdam, Dublin, Gothenburg, Gelsenkirchen, Chorzow, Zagreb, London, Sheffield and Glasgow and just finished at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on August 22.

The dates in North America begin at Chicago's Soldier Field on September 12th, 2009. Many of the US dates are already sold out. Including the October 23rd date in Las Vegas at Sam Boyd Stadium.

U2 is said to be in top form and putting on one heck of show from the reports filtering out of Europe.

Vegoose 2007 lineup - Vegas Halloween Madness

End of summer already - time to start thinking about back to school, football and ... Halloween in Vegas baby!!

Halloween in Las Vegas is becoming like a major Holiday, with all kinds of fun and interesting things to do. Let's discuss 2 of them right now...

The 12th annual Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball and lastly the 3rd annual Vegoose Music Festival (not Vagoose as we reported last year LOL).

The Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball is moving the location this year to the Alexis Park Resort which is located right across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The event will be "taking over the entire Hotel".

This is always a huge event - one that Maxim Magazine called "one of 5 events to attend before you die". Want to see a peek for yourself? Click on this link to see a short video clip of some of decadence that took place last year. This is some wild stuff.

You should also check out their website for ticket details and VIP specials. They also gave an extensive database of pictures from past events as well.

The 3rd annual Vegoose Music Festival is set for Halloween weekend, October 26th - 28th. Several venues around town like The Joint, The House of Blues and many more will have special events starting on Friday the 26th. The actual concert at the Sam Boyd Stadium is the 27th & 28th. The event will take advantage of the Sam Boyd complex, which consists of 30 acres of soccer fields as well as the actual stadium. One of the headliners will be Rage Against the Machine - one if their rare live appearances this year.

Sam Boyd is not close to the strip. People who want to stay close to the venue should check out Sam's Town or Sunset Station Casino's. There are some "non-casino" hotels like Holiday Inn Express, Courtyard Marriott and Hampton Inn & Suites real close to Sunset Station. Check for hotels in the 89014 zip code - they might be cheaper than the casino's. Don't delay - do it now before everything sells out.

Las Vegas Weddings breaks all records on 7/7/07

The Las Vegas Wedding market has always been a steady and lucrative business for Las Vegas. But with the calendar rolling all seven's on Saturday 7/7/07 we saw the shattering of records for any one day in Las Vegas wedding history. Some were calling it the biggest wedding day in the history of the world.

The Clark County Marriage Bureau expected over 3,000 couples to tie the knot on 7/7/07 busting the record held on Valentine's Day 2006, when 1,228 couples got married in Las Vegas.

Hundreds of couples had to wait more than 2 1/2 hours in 110 degree temperatures outside the courthouse Friday to get marriage certificates with the"Lucky" 7/7/07 date.

Couples were passing out while waiting in line in the oppressive heat prompting court officials to open up half of the first floor of the courthouse so the line could snake around inside. Hopefully 7/7/07 will be a lucky day for all the couples - it sure was to the business's in the Las Vegas Wedding market.

Kudos's to our friends over at the Sin City Chamber of Commerce of Las Vegas. The group was formed in 2004 and has grown to over 500 members and will be celebrating their 3rd Year Anniversary on July 26, 2007.

A big party to celebrate will be held at the Harley-Davidson Café on the strip Thursday, July 26th.

Big news in Las Vegas this week was the ground breaking ceremony of Donald Trump's $500 million Trump International Hotel & Tower. The project is already sold out and Trump announced plans for a second Tower.

The owner of the New Frontier Hotel & Casino announced plans for a 3500 room casino to be built. Look for the current property to be leveled sometime next year.

Not to be outdone, Ivana Trump also announced plans for a high-rise luxury condominium project across from the Sahara where the Holy Cow Brewery used to be.
